Returns & Refunds Policy

Thank you for shopping with us. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, this policy explains how returns and refunds work.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return most items within 30 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:

• The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

• It must be in the original packaging (where applicable).

• Proof of purchase or order number is required.

Non-returnable items:

• Gift cards

• Downloadable or digital products

• Perishable goods (if applicable)

• Personalised or custom-made items, unless defective

2. Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

• A description of the issue

• Photos or videos if possible

• Your order number

We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no extra cost to you.

3. How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please email us at jenny@faraway.org.uk with your order number.
Once your return is approved, we will send you instructions on how and where to send the item.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first.

4. Return Shipping Costs

• If the return is due to a change of mind, wrong size, or incorrect order by the customer, you will be responsible for return shipping costs.

• If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, wrong item), we will cover shipping.

5. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note:

• Shipping costs are not refundable unless the return is due to our error.

• Bank or card processing times may vary.

6. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange an item (e.g., for a different size or colour), the fastest method is to return the original item and place a new order once the refund is processed.

7. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled only if they have not yet been shipped.
To cancel, contact us as soon as possible with your order number.

Shipping Information

We aim to deliver your order quickly, safely, and efficiently. Below you’ll find all the details about our shipping methods, times, and costs.

1. Processing Times

All orders are processed within 1–2 business days.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

If we experience unusually high order volumes, processing times may be slightly extended — but we will always notify you of any significant delays.

2. Delivery Times & Costs

Delivery times depend on your chosen shipping method and location.

UK Shipping

• Standard Delivery: 2–4 business days

• Express Delivery: 1–2 business days

• Next-Day Delivery: Available for orders placed before [cut-off time]

Shipping costs:

• Standard: £7.50

International Shipping

We currently do not deliver internationally. If you would like to make an international order please contact us by email on jenny@faraway.org.uk

3. Free Shipping

We offer free UK standard shipping on orders over £50.
Free shipping offers for other regions may be available during promotions.

4. Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to follow your parcel’s progress.

5. Delivery Issues

If your delivery is delayed, lost, or arrives damaged, please contact us at jenny@faraway.org.uk with your order number.
We will work with the courier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

6. Incorrect Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
We cannot guarantee changes after the order has been processed, and orders shipped to incorrect addresses may not be eligible for refunds.

7. Click & Collect 

If you offer in-person pickup:
Customers may choose free local collection from Faraway Follies, Llandegla, Wrexham, LL11 3FA.
We’ll email you when your order is ready to collect to make arrangements for collection.
